  • YeePHP is a tiny PHP Framework. It helps you to develop Applications and APIs rapidly in a developer friendly way.

The Yee PHP framework was incepted by the need of a reliable Framework to build custom API projects on. After trying many PHP Frameworks on the OpenSource market we found that very few could meet our requirements and be customizable enough to completely fullfill the specs we needed that time. Some Frameworks were to "heavy", some to "light" and some were just a collection of classes. But nothing that was 100% right just out of the box. Yee doesn't have the overhead of larger frameworks like Codeigniter or Symfony a.o., thus concentrating on the job: a "lightspeed fast experience" to the developers who use the framework and create Apps or APIs.

The Yee PHP Framework is originally based on Slim Micro PHP framework, created by Josh Lockhart, before undergoing heavy modifications and extensions, and was undergoing a development process of about 2 years and used in many custom projects before we decided to release it back to the Community in 2014. Wherever code from third parties has been used or integrated, this is mentioned within the appropriate source files. All source code is documented as far as possible to make your use of the public methods and classes as enjoyable as possible. Just start downloading the source code, and you will see that your life is about to become fun again!

  • Rapidly Developing and Deploying Apps and APIs

The webpage you are currently surfing was created in less than 2 hours. Of course we used our own Yee PHP framework to do this. The main traget when creating the framework was usability in many different environments, minimal dependencies, and absolutely no resource usage by means of memory overhead. Also we needed fast response times, and just enough to leave us with the flexibility to enhance and extend the framework as we needed it!

The Framework is made also with flexibility in mind, allowing you to use just enough of your own code to make things work, without needing to think of the simple (but time consuming things). Yee gets rid of repeating tasks by adding the freedom for you to concentrate on making your app great and not by thinking about the basics and restricting coding conventions.
By all means, you could create beautiful and reusable code, or just create a quick and dirty prototype: Yee doesn't restrict you!

  • Support

Yee is relatively new, but already many commercial companies are picking up on it and start using it in all flavors of projects. Use our Bug Tracker to report problems, or the Tips and Tricks Forum to ask questions or help others if they are stuck.

If you are really stuck and need help fast or if you just wanna say hi just send us an email to info at yeephp dot com and we'll try to reply and get back to you with a solution as soon as possible, usually within 24 hours.

Peter is a hardcore software engineer and he loves to play with all kind of technologies. He is relatively new to the project but has already got the grips on the deepest core classes. Peter also does code revisions and cross platform testing and is really good in support.
